Our first morning in Austin--sleepy eyes

Hanging out with Grandpa Durbin

Look at his hand go!

Outside in 70-degree weather!

Looking up at all the trees

Blue eyes

Can you see tooth #7 coming in?

Ah. Jack's new friend. This is Eric's dog, Blitzen. When Jack first met Blitzen, he started crying and crawling rapidly towards us. Since then, however, Blitzen has been the one whining and running away. Jack loved this dog and chased her all over, laughing and squealing in delight!

It's for you, Jack!

Amanda and Ellis Sriram

Ellis is learning to play catch with his ball and new glove

Such concentration!

Looking for the balll...

Ellis, Rishi, Eric, and Jack

Ellis trying to kiss Jack

One more try

Look at that arm!

These are friends of ours, the Srirams, who live in Waco, TX, and they drove to Austin just to see us! It was so good to seem them and their son, Ellis, as well as rub Amanda's belly where a new Sriram is growing!

Great-Uncle Huey playing peek-a-boo with Jack

Cousin Sean and Great-Grandma Durbin

Great-Grandma is so excited to hold Jack for the first time

This is where Jack ate his meals at Grandpa's--on the counter!

Happy boy

This is the view out the bathroom window...isn't it beautiful? It was so nice to see flowers and feel the warmth of sunshine!

Grandpa's driveway...good thing they don't have too many snow and ice storms in Austin!

Going for a walk

Blitzen is worn out before she even gets up the driveway.

Amazing tree

This is one of our favorite pictures of Jack with his Great-Grandma.
