Well, it's actually more accurate to say "One reason I love dressing a little boy..." ...look at all those stripes! I admit it: I'm a stripe fanatic. I don't know why; there are days I just take so much pleasure in the stripes that adorn my son. I know. It sounds just ridiculous. And I've been warned by many a mother that girl clothes are "way better" and that I just have no idea...but I'm not so sure. I'm a little wary of all the impending bows, tights, ruffles, and well, pink. I like navy blue, and orange, and green. I love his litle velcro tennis shoes, and the navy and grey winter hat. I love his PJ's with baseball players all over them. I love that his favorite stuffed animal is a brown and white puppy dog. I love just how boy he is. It makes me so sad to be packing up his summer shorts, overalls, T-shirts, and sandals, knowing he'll never wear them again. And I'm sure that once my little girl arrives I'll be surprised just how precious the color pink can be; I'm sure I'll be ga-ga over bows and ruffly diaper covers. But for now, I'm perfectly happy enjoying the simplicity of having a boy...and all the cute that he brings to these stripes.
His new "footie" PJ's; he refuses to keep his socks on at night, so we had to look for a new alternative, and luckily, they came in stripes!
Not a big fan of the footed jammies...

I think Jack will hate you for these striped jammies when he is a teenager/young adult. He is awfully cute in them, though!
I agree - I love blue and strips and all things boy. Pink makes me a little nervous. But I can tell you the other day I was shopping for Noah for some winter clothes and there were SO many more options for girls than boys, it was insane!! Im sure you will love pink once it is on your little girl because it will be on her.
By the way, if she is anything like you, she will look great in pink just as you did in the pics above. Glad you guys were able to have a good date night!! YOu both look stunning:)
